Hello enki ,thanks for getting back so quick.
Mine is a converted bongo as well so in gussing I'd be using Similar pressures .
Picked up mine on Thursday evening and then went to France on Friday for a week in the car so I Haven't had a chance to even look at the bus properly never mind do some jobs on her !
Thanks again
Brian

That clunking a thing of the past you say . I'm on it .
Every year I collect near 800 kg of logs in mine by taking the seats out hanging a tarp from the grab handles to protect the floor and sides .
But yeah that clunking as you drive over bumps and horrible handling . I'm so on it .
As its an early Aero (Bongolow) its well under 2 tonne with the seats out , in fact 2050 kg with a 6x4 tin trailer with frame and cover and me on the weigh bridge .
Keep up the great advise .
Thanks

Airlift bags fitted . A good job to . I had broken one of the metal bump stops I see . I fitted both with it on the two post ramp . One through the spring as described here , and one by removing the spring . Removing the spring was the least effort but both methods took about the same time to complete .
One other thing I noticed was that the end plates need guiding into the seat at both ends when Van is lowered to the floor . I wonder if they will stick in place with time or if I will need to remember to guide them in the future if/when the Van is lifted off the floor ? The risk is incorrectly seated end plates could damage bag ends or the top ones could slip out altogether .
Overall I am really impressed with this Mod and thank you all for sharing the knowledge .
